4th of July

I hope everyone had a safe & wonderful 4th of July.
Ours started out kinda rocky & tense....between my hubby & my mother, but it all worked itself out, and by this afternoon all was great!
My bff came over, Brother had his best bud over, and we grilled & ate, and ate and ate. Sister & I made a delicious strawberry cake topped with whipped cream, blue berries & raspberries. So yum!
We found out our boxer loves blueberries!
My hubby and I also celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary today! What a great day to have an anniversary, the whole nation celebrates! LOL! He gave me a really great card...never got an anniversary card from him before! We will put money in the little church bank at Sunday school tomorrow. Mom says we should actually put a penny in for each year we've known each other, not just the year we've been married this time! :)
